Amazing Opportunity for an experienced Industrial Paint Sprayer

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Paint Sprayer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for paint mixing and preparation and spray paint coatings to various large industrial products, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with spray-painting systems and a keen eye for detail, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paint and coatings.
  • Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to industrial products using airless or air-assisted spray systems, ensuring an even and smooth application.
  • Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including airless and plural component mixing paint pumps. Perform routine checks and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish, identifying and correcting any defects or imperfections in the paint application.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Adjust to new tasks, processes, or environmental changes and maintain high levels of productivity and professionalism. Willingness to assist other teams if needed.
  • Monitor and maintain paint supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels are available for continuous work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an industrial paint sprayer or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of spray-painting techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and follow technical specifications, safety guidelines, and project instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment and materials.
  • Willingness to work in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with plural component mixing systems.
  • Certification in paint spraying or related field.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection standards.

Pay Rates

Pay – £14.50 per hour

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday – 6.30am to 3.45pm

Friday – 6.30am – 12.30pm
