£17.58 – £20.82 per hour + 15% shift allowance at an average of 42hrs per week

£44,153.93 to £52,291.51 basic salary (With shift allowance)

Our client, a market leading Resource Recovery business are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled (Electrical Bias) maintenance technician to provide mechanical and welding support working as part of the Maintenance team to ensure the smooth running of the plant.

Role duties

• To work to a programme of planned maintenance for the site
• Repairing Heavy Plant Machinery such as Extruders, Conveyors, Motors, Separators, Invertors, PLC’s.
• E-stop circuits, read electrical drawings, fault finding, relays.
• Reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment across the site
• To adapt to any preventive or reactive maintenance procedural changes and keep all relevant maintenance data current

Qualifications, skills and competencies

• Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Engineering/ONC
• IPAF certificate desirable
• Counterbalance forklift truck certificate desirable
• Previous experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Full driving license and car
