As part of the Macmillan Coffee morning event this year, we held our Start People bake off today across our sites in Durham and Manchester. This was to give people the weekend to prepare their mouth-watering creations.
Well, after much stress, verbal abuse and expletives over Whatsapp yesterday, the big reveal finally took place this morning as you can see from the photos.
Some looked better than they tasted and some tasted better than they looked 🤣 but after much deliberation David Edwards was voted the best in Durham and for the second year running Nadya Ruskova won the Manchester vote.
But whatever people baked, we raised a total of £130 for this fantastic charity which sadly, many people will come into contact with either as a Patient or Carer at some point in their lives.
Well done Everyone and off to the gym after all that sugar!
