We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Operator to join our client in Newton Aycliffe.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools.

As an Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process within our warehouse environment, ensuring that products are assembled accurately and efficiently to meet quality standards.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 5:30am to 2:30pm

Pay:

£12.58 per hour (Paid Weekly)

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to specifications and drawings.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Experience

• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is required for efficient assembly work.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
