Machine Operators

Start People are looking for Machine Operatives to work for our client in Meadowfield.

Shift Patterns

You’ll be working on a 3 Shift Pattern

Days : Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm (40 Hours per week)

Backs: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm (40 Hours per week)

Nights: Monday to Thursday 10pm to 6am (32 Hours per week)

Pay Rate

£12.50 per hour

Pay increases to £13.20 per hour once probation has passed.

What you’ll be doing

• Feeding products into the machines
• Filling mixers with 25kg bags of product
• Running machine and checking temperatures at all times
• Quality checking
• Bagging up end product of pellets
• Cleaning down the machines after jobs
• Working to targets and deadlines

Experience

• Operating and understanding machinery
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Background in materials handling,
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus
