Landscape Labourer, Consett, County Durham

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Labourer to join their team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours:

Monday to Friday – 7:15am to 4:15pm

Pay:

£11.44 – £12.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and weeding.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects, including digging, planting, and building garden features.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and repairs, demonstrating mechanical knowledge as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Carry out groundskeeping duties such as clearing debris, mulching, and maintaining pathways.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have an in-date CSCS Card
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is advantageous.
• A willingness to learn new skills related to gardening and landscaping practices is essential.
