We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sewing Machinist to join our client team in Stockton. You will be responsible for operating sewing machines to produce high-quality industrial filter bags in line with company standards.

 Working Hours & Pay

7am till 4:30pm Monday to Thursday

£13.47 an hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g. flatbed, overlock, walking foot)
• Read and follow patterns, work instructions, and measurements
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Report any faults or issues with machinery
• Work efficiently to meet production targets

Requirements

• Previous experience as a sewing machinist or similar role – Training can be provided
• Experience using industrial sewing machines
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Knowledge of different stitching techniques
