Production Operator – Stanley, DH9
Start People are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our client in Annfield Plain DH9.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a business offering full training, on going career progression on a temporary to permanent basis.
Shifts are Monday to Friday rotating 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
Pay rate: £12.96 per hour. Weekly pay. Temp to perm.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various FMCG production machinery in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance and other safety regulations throughout all stages of production.
- Assist in preparing materials required for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area, adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Perform routine mechanical inspections and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
- Record production data accurately using basic maths skills, including quantities, weights, and measurements.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary.
