We’re recruiting a Production Operative for a well-established materials manufacturer based in Chadderton, supplying materials used in the aerospace, wind energy, marine and automotive industries.

You’ll play a key part in helping deliver the highest quality custom engineered products, converted items and services to customers.

The Role:

• Assembling materials and/or operating production machinery, including cutting, laminating and slitting machines
• Loading and unloading machines safely and efficiently
• Preparing, processing, packing and storing product to a high standard
• Completing accurate paperwork and computer entries
• Inspecting product where required and isolating any non-conforming items
• Producing and storing manufacturing samples for quality purposes
• Ensuring all goods are correctly marked and stored
• Maintaining the defined 6S standard within your work area
• Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures, and reporting any hazards identified

What we’re looking for:

• Willingness to learn and train across a variety of production machines
• A careful, conscientious approach with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working as part of a team and following set procedures
• Reliable and able to work rotating early/late shifts, Monday to Friday
• Previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential

Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday | 06:00–14:10 / 14:00–22:10
