Transport Operations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport providers
• Monitor daily operations and resolve logistical challenges
• Liaise with warehouse teams to align transport schedules with dispatch
• Ensure accurate documentation for shipments (invoices, delivery notes)
• Handle transport issues such as delays, damages, and customer complaints
• Analyse logistics data to suggest improvements
• Verify and manage PODs, keeping records up to date
• Update daily transport costs

Administrative Support

• Assist the Transport Planning Manager with ad hoc administrative duties
• Support projects and data requests
• Help achieve and communicate operational targets

Consignment & Allocation Management

• Enter deliveries onto carrier portals
• Track and update consignment statuses
• Provide ETAs to internal customers when required

Health & Safety Compliance

• Support compliance with company H&S policies
• Assist in reporting and logging incidents or compliance issues

Customer Service & Communication

• Deliver excellent customer service by handling enquiries efficiently
• Ensure clear communication between warehouse and office teams
• Promote adherence to company guidelines across all colleagues

Ad Hoc Duties

• Undertake other duties as required to support the team
