We’re recruiting a Shot Blaster for a well-established, market-leading manufacturer based in Doncaster. This is a physical, hands-on role at the start of the production process — the work you do directly impacts the quality of every product that leaves the factory.

06:00–16:30 | Overtime Paid at Time + Half

The Role:

• Operating an automated shot blasting machine to clean and prepare steel trailer components
• Blowing off residual shot blast media using a compressed air gun
• Inspecting blasted surfaces to ensure they meet the required cleanliness and profile standard before moving to paint
• Loading and unloading steel components and trailer panels onto the blast line
• Working to production schedules to ensure a steady flow of prepped components to the paint shop
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment around the blast area
• Following all PPE requirements — this is a dusty, noisy environment and the right protective equipment is worn at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Previous shot blasting or surface preparation experience is desirable but full training can be provided
• Physically fit and comfortable with a demanding, active role throughout a 10-hour shift
• Reliable, hardworking and able to maintain pace in a production environment
• Good awareness of health and safety
• A team player who takes pride in the quality of their work
