Start People Ltd are recruiting for our client who are based in Burnopfield NE16 for an experienced machine / production operator to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate with excellent career progression.
This is a day shift role working Monday to Friday 7am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assist with assembly tasks, following detailed instructions to meet quality specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any faults or irregularities promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to uphold health and safety regulations.
- Support activities such as loading, unloading, and moving materials as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment for all team members.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous, including familiarity with basic machinery operation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools is desirable.
- Experience with assembly processes or working within a production line is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
