Customer Service / Sales Support Specialist

The purpose of this role is to manage the development and administrative support of customers both existing, and new, within specific market sectors. The Business Administrator / Sales support works with the external sales team in managing development briefs internally, organising samples and quotations and proactively building a data base of customers which can be used for sales and marketing activities.
Role duties and responsibilities
· Processing orders received via phone and email
· Assist the sales team in providing excellent customer service by handling inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales orders, ensuring the database is up to date.
· Liaise with different departments to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery to customers.
· Support the sales team in preparing quotations and proposals for potential customers.
· Proactively contact previous customers
Skills and Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a similar role, sales administration, order processing or sales co-ordination (ideally in manufacturing but not essential)
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficient in using MS Office Suite.
· Good team player and willingness to learn.
Hours and salary
General office hours, Monday to Friday
