
Line Operative – Preston, PR26
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Machine / Line Operator to join our clients leading manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of a designated area of the converting line equipment as instructed, in accordance with strict quality and productivity requirements, along with working in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team, working across a designated area of the converting lines to support the delivery of the business plan
- Maintaining established Housekeeping, Health & Safety and Quality Standards
- Complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), ensuring converting equipment is run at optimum performance at all times
- Completing hourly quality control checks, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time – reporting any non-compliance issues to the Lead Line Operator
- Ensuring all other production documentation is completed accurately at all times, raising any concerns or downtime to the Lead Line Operator.
Skills / person spec
- Machine or Manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic, punctual and on time.
- Willing to learn & a positive attitude.
- PC Literate, able to navigate Microsoft system.
Permanent Position
4 on 4 off, 2 days 2 nights (continental shifts)
Salary £27,500 – £30,000 per year
