Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development. Familiarity with Salesforce software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.

MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS WORKING IN LOGISTICS SALES

Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with organisational goals.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our products and services.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using Salesforce software.

Provide regular reports on business development progress to senior management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a similar industry.

Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.

Proficiency in using Salesforce software for tracking sales activities and managing client relationships is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
