Start People are working with a Joinery manufacturing business in Billingham, who are looking to recruit a number of bench joiners to join their fast-growing team.

Bench Joinery experience is required

Duties will include

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and cutting lists.
• Measuring, marking out and cutting timber and sheet materials to the required dimensions.
• Manufacturing bespoke joinery items such as doors, frames, wall panelling, reception desks, cabinetry, and other architectural woodwork.
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and accurately.
• Assembling and fitting joinery components in the workshop before dispatch

Hours of work will be 7:45am till 3:45pm Monday to Friday – some overtime is available.

The rate of pay will vary from £14.56 an hour to £16.85 an hour – This will all depend on experience and skill sets.
