We’re recruiting a Sewing Machinist for a well-established materials manufacturer based in Chadderton, supplying materials used in the aerospace, wind energy, marine and automotive industries.

This role involves sewing small pieces of delicate material on a flat bed sewing machine, typically in straight lines, and would suit someone with a steady hand and a careful, precise approach.

The Role:

• Operating a flat bed sewing machine to join and finish small, delicate pieces of material
• Sewing accurately in straight lines to a consistent standard
• Handling delicate materials carefully to avoid damage or marking
• Checking finished pieces for quality and consistency
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe

What we’re looking for:

• Previous sewing machine experience is beneficial but not essential – full training provided
• A steady hand and a careful, precise approach to detailed work
• Good concentration and attention to detail over repetitive tasks
• Comfortable working a rotating early/late shift pattern
• Reliable and a good team player

Hours: Rotating weekly, 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
